Belmont Hotel Mactan Partners with Tuburan and Local Agencies to Plant Bamboo for a Greener Future
<h3>Last July 12, we came together for a meaningful bamboo planting activity in Tuburan, in partnership with the Municipality of Tuburan, Tuburan 360, the Cebu Bamboo Industry Development Council, DTI, and DENR. This initiative is part of our long-term commitment to sustainability through our MEGreen and Circle of Happiness programs.</h3><h3>While we continue to make eco-conscious choices within the hotel, we believe it’s just as important to step outside and take part in actions that support the environment and the communities around us.</h3><h3>Bamboo, known for its ability to absorb carbon dioxide and release more oxygen than most trees, plays a silent but powerful role in restoring balance to our planet.We look forward to returning to what we call the Belmont Bamboo Village in Tuburan—watching the bamboo flourish and grow into a lasting symbol of what it means to nurture, protect, and savor the Earth.</h3>
